In July, we received information of an ATOS Home Visit.
My partner was obviously terrified of this due to the false statements already provided by ATOS (as you can see later – we were not to be spared this again).
I called the DWP to ask if an employee of the DWP would also be present at the assessment due to previous problems. Despite the fact that I was not rude at any time, the DWP employee hung up on my call!
OFCOM regulations state that one does not have to inform the other party of telephone recordings and yet the DWP employee chose to hang up on a call without even a discussion about this which is extraordinarily unprofessional. If you have read the errors up until now, the use of the phrase ‘common courtesy’ when the DWP have repeatedly treat us in a disgusting and negligent manner seems bizarre.
