Nothing happened until May (remember the assessment was in January)
For several months (May-September 2012), ATOS merely stated that this report “Did not fully meet their high standards” and that the “medical descriptors may be inadequate”.
Here, ATOS are clearly refusing to investigate a written complaint fully.
I do not understand what would be ‘futile’ in defending or accepting criticisms as that is part of a complaints procedure!
As you can see (in the next post and in the DLA section), this refusal to investigate the complaint led to months of problems in my partner’s ESA and DLA claims.
In September 2012, due to pressure from my MP, ATOS are now referring this matter to their senior team. It is too late now to repair any damage done, but I will update you on any changes.
