Just a post to mark today.
The DWP wrote to HM Courts and Tribunals Service and stated:
This refers to a very honest, thorough and professional report written by a senior, experienced and well qualified nurse who solely works with patients with the same disease as my partner.
Today, my partner had 5 hours of surgery, the first of 3 major operations. Today’s removed her bowels.
I am very angry that the NHS did not contact the DWP and ATOS in order to ascertain her true condition as she has obviously had this life changing surgery unnecessarily as the “level of severity” was misrepresented – In future I will urge her to attend an DWP-run hospital 😉
As an aside, I would like to pay tribute to the continuing excellent treatment and care by a wide range of staff including the nurses, specialist nurses, consultants, surgeons, anaesthetists, etc at Northwick Park and St. Marks hospitals in Harrow. They are absolutely superb.
